Our Programmes
Bringing care to the people least able to travel for it.
For many families, the barrier to healthcare is not unwillingness but distance and cost. A screening that would catch a condition early is skipped; medication that would manage it is rationed. MTAF runs outreach clinics that bring screening and treatment directly into communities, with particular attention to diabetes, which is widespread locally and manageable when caught in time. Alongside treatment we teach people what to watch for, because awareness prevents more illness than any single clinic can treat.
Untreated conditions rarely stay still. They deepen, and they take a household’s income with them.
Community clinics bringing consultation and treatment to people who cannot travel to reach it.
Screening, monitoring and ongoing assistance for people living with diabetes.
Early checks that catch treatable conditions before they become severe.
Practical education on prevention, nutrition and recognising warning signs early.
Beneficiaries apply, or a branch officer, imam or community member refers someone in need.
Support is matched to the actual situation rather than issued as a standard package.
Where possible we add training, tools or guidance so the support continues to pay off.
We stay in contact, review how the support is holding, and adjust where it is needed.
Outcomes we work towards with every household this programme reaches.
