Our Programmes
Work that outlasts the people who funded it.
Support given to one household helps one household. Support invested in a community can serve it for a generation. MTAF backs projects that belong to the community itself, chosen with local leaders and built to be maintained locally once we step back. This is the slowest of our programmes and often the most durable, because what it leaves behind keeps working without us.
Individual assistance reaches its limit where shared infrastructure is missing.
Facilities identified with local leaders and built to serve the wider community.
Practical works designed so that the community can maintain them independently.
Working through existing local structures rather than around them.
Staying involved after completion to see that what was built keeps working.
Beneficiaries apply, or a branch officer, imam or community member refers someone in need.
Support is matched to the actual situation rather than issued as a standard package.
Where possible we add training, tools or guidance so the support continues to pay off.
We stay in contact, review how the support is holding, and adjust where it is needed.
Outcomes we work towards with every household this programme reaches.
Shared infrastructure serving entire communities rather than single households.
Works built to be maintained locally long after completion.
Backing community-led initiatives that create opportunity close to home.
Whether you choose to donate, volunteer, partner with us, or support a specific initiative, your contribution can help us reach more people and build stronger communities.
