Our Programmes
Support that moves a household from getting by to standing on its own.
Many of the widows and low-income families we meet do not need charity so much as a starting point. They have the will to work and often the skill, but no tools, no capital and no one to guide the first few months. MTAF exists to close that gap. We combine practical training with the means to use it, then stay in contact while a new income takes root. Relief alone is quickly spent; a livelihood keeps giving back long after our involvement ends.
Losing a husband or a job rarely causes one problem. It causes several at once, and they compound.
Practical, hands-on training in trades with real local demand, taught to a standard that leads to paid work.
Tools, equipment and modest start-up capital so that training converts into an actual income.
Continued guidance through the early months, when most new ventures are at their most fragile.
Targeted assistance for widows carrying a household alone, delivered with dignity and discretion.
Beneficiaries apply, or a branch officer, imam or community member refers someone in need.
Support is matched to the actual situation rather than issued as a standard package.
Where possible we add training, tools or guidance so the support continues to pay off.
We stay in contact, review how the support is holding, and adjust where it is needed.
Outcomes we work towards with every household this programme reaches.
Monthly care packages for widows and orphans, providing steady support rather than occasional relief.
Hands-on training, tools and start-up capital for individuals building their own trade.
Financial assistance, food security, vocational training and counselling for widows.
